Resources for learning Python.

There are many excellent resources for learning Python that are available online. For experienced programmers, there is the book Dive into Python. For people without computer science or programming background, there is the Python version of How to Think Like a Computer Scientist, which is actually available in several languages. Learning to Program is a similar book.

Python.org has a long list of links to introductory material. At the other end of the spectrum is the Python Cookbook with advanced "recipes" for solving a diverse range of problems with Python. A similar site is Charming Python although it is more introductory stuff and is only the work of one author.

Recently came across another good resource for Python learning - Python Learning Foundation which has a good list of links, whatever the name may mean.

Another new article I came across is Python Programming for Beginners
